Nonper · Old French NONPER

Teams compete. Umpires keep it fair.

The word umpire comes from nonper, the Old French name for those called in to decide fairly between the sides. We took the name back for the umpires and officials who still do that job every weekend.

Netball first. Then every sport with officials in the middle.

Who it's for

Umpires train for it, turn up early for it and stay calm when it matters most. They are part of the game, and their kit should look like it.

NONPER is for the club umpire on a Saturday morning, the teenager earning their badge and the official at the final. Same whites, same standard.
